I have been researching my family for over 25 years and have taking my family back over 60 generations but have only gone back 4 gerearations with the Pruetts. My father was Jack Lee Pruett (Wife: Arlene Dew), grandfather was Ernest William Pruett (wife Helen Wicker), great grandfather was Phillip Dailey Pruett ( wife: Ludie Lee Piper) and great great grandfather was William Pruett (wife: Mary Jane Kibler) I believe William Pruett was from Surry County, NC but he lived most of his life in VA. He might have been born in VA, Mary Jane Kibler's father was Phillip Kibler and his wife has from the Dudley family. I have traced the Dudleys back to the 9th Century in England. I am trying to trace William Pruett back father. His birth has about 1835-1838? My mother, Dew, has from Iowa and Ohio. Now most of the Dews are in Mich. My grandmother, Wickers, was from Mass. My grandfather, Ernest Pruett was born in Mo. My greatgrandfather,Phillp Pruett,was born in VA and my great grandmother,Ludie Piper,was born in MO.
