Iam currently researching my family tree, and i would like to hear from anyone with the same surname or possible links to it.
I have traced the tree back to 1880's, and iam unable to trace it back past my greatgrandparents who were Austin Purton, born in 1883 and died on the 24.04.1943, and his wife Gertrude, born in 1885 and died on the 14.10.1942. They are both buried at the cemetery in Swynnerton Staffordshire.
The difficulty iam having is my father tried to trace the tree once before,but he was advised not to pursue it because he would not like what he might find, so he refueses to help me past what i already know.
