My great-great grandfather is George Purcell b. 1859 d. 7/20/1918 (in South Cass Township, PA). Married Rhoda Dando b 1863 (of Irish birth) who immigrated from England d ? (in South Cass Township, PA) . George was believed to be a Private in some branch of the US forces. George and Rhoda had 15 children (8 surviving) that we are aware of, William, Thomas, Charles, James, George, Vincent, Elizabeth, Mary, Ethel, .........
My great-great-great grandfather is William Purcell b 1830 in Ireland d ? (in South Cass Township, PA). Both parents of Irish birth. Married Mary ____ b ? (in Maryland) d ? (in South Cass Township, PA) and had atleast 9 children, Elanor?, Richard, Ann, George, John, Thomas, Charles, May/Mary, and Henry. William immigrated from Ireland and worked as a coal miner.
I'd love more info on William or what his parents names were or where in Ireland they came from.
