I am currently researching the genealogy of the Pushman family originating from the Isle of Purbeck area, Dorset, England. I have, through my efforts and those of other family members, traced our family roots back to 1518 in Purbeck. This Pushman family has members currently living in England, Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand. The common ancestor who emigrated from England to North America was John Pushman (1839-1922) who did so in the mid-1860's. He settled in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and married Janetta Stewart prior to 1867. His descendants have since settled throughout Canada and the USA. I have compiled a database of approximately 500 family members and their spouses dating from 1518 to present. I am in the process of creating a "Pushman Family Journal" which I hope to publish soon.
I am therefore looking for any information regarding both living and deceased Pushman family members and their spouses. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
