John Andrew Blackburn wrote an extensive family history, of which we have a hard copy.
I wrote a Godfrey family history to share with relatives at the last reunion of the M.J. Godfrey-Grace Slater offspring in June of 2002. This is on floppy disk. Have connections with several branches of extended families.
My husband and I have traveled to Nova Scotia to explore the sites associated with Wrights, Sibleys, and Godfreys; to Massachusets to visit sites associated with Godfreys in the 1600s; to the St. Croix Valley (WI and MN) where Godfreys and Fenlasons were pioneer lumbermen and steamboat builders. I grew up in northern Minnesota, where Godfreys and Slaters were early settlers.
