I am researching my family tree as far back as is genealogically possible. To begin with, however, my more modest approach is this: I am attempting to establish my pedigree 7 generations; that is, my family line back to each of my great great great great grandparents.

Edward Houchin- from 1670 New Kent County, Virginia
Thomas Rice- from 1700 Hanover County, VA
John Hornibrook- from 1770 Bandon, County Cork, Ireland
John Adams- from 1790 Worchester, England
Hugh Henry- from 1690 Derry, Ireland
Edward Norton- from 1710 Armagh, Ulster, Ireland
William Nicholson- from 1760 Pendleton District, South Carolina
James DeBoard- from 1630 Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, England
Joseph Ing- from 1719 England
Joseph Bullitschek- from 1729 Cohnon, Bohemia, Czech Republic
Furthermore I am also trying to find the parents of my great great grandfather:
Charles Bates Briggs.
If you know anything about this elusive grandfather of mine, I would greatly appreciate it.
