I am now the proud owner of the beginnings of this McMillan family tree. I also have a few pictures. I also have some of the stories. I have learned that my Great Grand Father, Duncan died in the Geriatric home in Wolseley, SK, CA in 1943. All of his boys tried farming and had homesteads near Cadillac, SK. Two of those died of carbon monoxide poisoning in a small farm house. One thing stands in my way of finding out more about this family, Duncan's thoughts on the last child Flora gave birth to. For some reason he thought that child was not his because she had red hair. No one on his side had red hair and as far as he thought, neither did Flora's. So he took his oldest son and left her. He did stay in contact with his children however. His son Archibald received his teaching certificate in North Dakota and moved with his wife Mary (Gowan) to Onamia MN where they farmed and he was a public school teacher. They raised three children and are buried in Onamia. So far this is all I know. If anyone reads this and knows more I would love to hear from you.
