The Quicks of Devon England

As a newcomer to researching our family history very little has been done so far. As far as we know some ancestors came from the Instow area of North Devon and later from Dartmouth in S.Devon.
We came to Saltash in Cornwall England in the 1950s to find two other Quick families in the town but as far as we can find out no connection.
There are a few Quicks in the St.Ives area of Cornwall but as above no connections as far as we know
