I am researching the Radke family from Loganville, Sauk County, WI. Charlie Radke son of Fred William and Cristina Radke, married Hannah Schultz daughter of August Schultz came from Prussia 1873 - 1874. Children of Charlie and Hannah are, Julius, Amelia, Ida, Louise, Charlie (Carl), and William. Julius (Juleus) Radke in his application for citizenship in 1940 says, that the family came from Tischendorf, Germany in 1871. Could this be Teschendorf in North Germany? Would like more information on family origin and date, port of embarkation, name of ship day of arrival in NY. Spelling for Radke was some times Radtke. In addition, I'm researching the GEORG PEPER family of Sauk County, WI. He was born in Hanstedt, Germany, October 23, 1856. He came to New York, NY in April or May with his wife Dorothea and two small children, Maria and Hannah in 1882. Georg applied for citizenship November 3, 1888 in Sauk County, WI. Was granted citizenship September 22, 1905. Specifically, I'm trying to find out what date, port of embarkation, name of ship day of arrival in NY. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
