I have been researching the Jackson line of my family. My great great grandparents came from Arkansas. I have found my gggrandmother living in Carroll Co.,Ar. with her three sons. Eliza Jane Jackson b. abt 1835. Louis D.Jackson b. abt 1857, James J. Jackson b. abt 1860 and John George Jackson b. 1861. All her sons were born in Berryville, Ar. John George is my great grandfather. He married Sarah Ann Woods. He was a Baptist preacher in Arkansas.
My gg grandfather is a mystery, as no one that I have contacted knows his name. It has been a great challenge trying to find him.
My mother is the eldest child of Preston George Jackson and Dolores Winchester. They married in 1923 in Ok.
I have searched marriages, births, deaths,cemeteries, libraries. I went to the LDS center and searched on some of their CD's trying to obtain information on my elusive ancestor.
