Family research and website are dedicated in the loving memories of my grandparents, Booker T. and Rosa Lee Berry. It is also dedicated to family ancestors who were sold to slavery without traceable roots nor records. The Berry family not only starts with Booker T. Berry and Rosa Lee Terry. This family shares a rich and proud heritage, which can be researched back to France, with limited oral history about relatives from Africa. Family history may present confusing, yet interesting family structures and bloodlines. Research information was collected and gathered by accumulative resources and references. Information was obtained through genealogical message boards, extended relatives via internet, Crockett Texas Court House, Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research, U.S. Census, and Oral/auto recording of family history. A special thank you to my cousins, Roger Berry, Denito Berry, Bellthia Berry and my sister, Tausha Rainey. They have also made contributions collecting information to help explore our family history. Lost Ancestors of Slavery You are not forgotten! It is because of you our family continues to thrive.
