I am looking for my fathers family history. My father, Ralph, and his family moved from Pender, Nebraska when he was a boy. They moved to the Sacramento Vally, Marysville, CA. He went to school in Marysville. After graduating from school he went into the Army. He meet my mother, Bernice, on a blind date in 1944. They were married in June 1945. They lived in Portland, Oregon where my sister Barbara, and I(Yvonne) were both born. We moved to Marysville for a number of years. We then moved to Eureka, Ca. My dad became a school teacher. He thought auto shop at the Eureka High School for 13 years and then went to College of the Redwoods and taught there for 13 years. He passed away in October 1986.
