The Family Tree of John S. "Steve" Ralls Updated December 26, 2002
About Our Family Research
In 1869, my Great Grandfather John M. Ralls moved from Missouri to Western Montana. I have not been able to trace the Ralls' before that time, but have heard family oral history talk about them being from the Confederacy. Less honest, but colorful also, was their "supposed" favorite sport was "borrowing" other people's Horses!! My Mother's family (Aker) has a colorful History also!! The Aker's came from Summerset Kentucky over the Bozeman Tral in the 1860's, and accoring to that family history, WERE from the Confederacy,,tracing the females in that branch of the Family Tree back to General Robert E. Lee. I am also supposed to have family in Texas, oral family history says that they settled in Ralls Texas!! There is also a Ralls County Texas, and I want to learn of that side of the family also.
