We are researching the history of several families with an eye towards the future. We are not only interested in the past, but are also seeking out those relations who live far and wide. The product of this ongoing project is something that will hopefully be passed on to future generations for them to carry on.
We are primarily of African descent but oral history and pictures informs us that our families includes others. For my wife, families of interest include the Brownes and Johnsons of Jamaica (Lucea, St. Annes Parish and Falmouth, Trelawney Parish respectively) as well as the Grey/Grays of Jamaica and the Wilsons of the Dutch West Indies. For my family, I'm interested in obtaining information on the Randalls of Putnam County GA, the Streets of Crisp County GA, the Babcocks of York County SC, and the Penningtons of Talbot County MD.
