my grandfather-walter conger came from marion kentuckey to missouri,he married mildred martin,from advance missouri,they had one child that I know of her name was martha jeanette conger,born 1936 in clayton mo.martha j conger went on to marry harvey clarence smothers from marion or carbondale illinois,I think martha may have had one child named kerith before she married harvey smothers,they had three daughters,judy-jeanette-Brenda,smothers..martha jeanette smothers died jan-1965 from burns she received in a fire that happened dec-1964,in south st,louis mo.after martha died ,harvey smothers went on to marry rebecca calhoun, of st,louis or ill,she had a child or two before she married harvey smothers,one was as i was told sold on the black market.harvey & rebecca smothers went on to have three or four more children which were all taken away by the state of illinois.some of us are in contact with each other. one of martha & harvey smothers daughters-brenda smothers,married william albert Rulo,from st,louis mo, they had 4 children-william jr-marsha-cherie-crystal Rulo, brenda & william separated in 1991 divorced in 1993,Brenda remarried in 1994 to Paul Raney of potosi missouri.if anyone who reads this has any information on any of the names above please email us at.the-raneys@centurytel.net
