I have been able to find my great-great grandfather, Aberaham Svendsen, born in 1825 in Haland parish, Norway. His son, Saldor Tobias Swenson, born November 6, 1855 in Stavanger, Norway, died January 27, 1950 in Glenwood, Minnesota, married Thedora Maria Torgrimsen, born October 14, 1853 in Haugesund, Norway, died January 23, 1942 in Glenwood Minnesota. His son, Alfred Tobias Swenson, born January 19, 1879 in Rushford, Minnesota, died December 14, 1968 in Rushford, Minnesota, married Mary Kjestine Rud/Ruud/Olson/Oglesruud, born March 9, 1878, Rushford, Fillmore County, Minnesota and died January 1969 in Rushford, Minnesota. She had a sister Annie. Alfred & Mary were married February 16, 1910 in Redvers, Saskatchewan, Canada. All their children were born in Antler, Saskatchewan, Canada. Keep in mind in researching Norwegians, that they took on the farm name back in Norway. Thanks to the many people working with me on this project. Have been researching on my mother's side as well. It has been fun tracking down Jones. And I have been extremely lucky to have found what I have found. If anyone can add to my information, please contact me. I will be glad to share what I have. If you see any discrepancies, please contact me. My father-in-law's side (Rappleyea) has been very difficult, as we don't have a lot of information to go on. My mother-in-law's side (Moore) has proven to be very fruitful and is still growing. Included here are Watson's, Ladd's, Emmons', Norris', and many, many more.
