About Our Family Research
Am researching my GGGreatparents - John and Candace WILLSON, thought to have come to US from Ireland abt 1828 and settled in Conquest, Cayuga, NY. He M Deborah [CRAPO] d/o of Consider JR and Anna [Barney] CRAPO 1816 in Taunton, Bristal, MA. They lived in Conquest, NY also. His son George Consider WILLSON and his wife Harriet [BESIMER] M 1855 in NY and settled in Cato, Conquest area of NY, until 1874 when they came to MI. His son Edwin - my grandfather was born in Syracuse, NY abt 6 weeks prior to the journey to MI. Deborah [CRAPO] WILLSON died in 1873 just before George WILLSON came to Juanietta, Twn with his brother William R and families. George soon moved to Fairgrove, Twn, Tuscola, MI and remained their until his death in 1969.
