Greetings To All McCammons,(MacCammons, McCammond And similiar spellings),
After much genealogical searching for family information, I found may people had lots of pieces. There are many records and many dead ends when there might be someone else who has something interesing to add. I am establishing a McCammon database where all information can be posted and maintained.
Maybe that way, some of the puzzle pieces can find the place in history. Please consider joining this site and add to the information available. It is a family site on MyFamily.com but I also am starting a web page here. It has family online trees, Coat of arms for McCammon(d) and the humorous stories of old ones and family rumors. Most are good reading, and most are just antidotes of grandmothers or grandfathers.
This a family project, not an advertising. Emails will remain confidential to the site and other members. NO Spam will be allowed. Only "family" business will be accepted, old pictures, family tree listings, great stories to share. References to sites that are related or of research interest are welcome.
I believe that it is this interaction that will help pool all the records to build a more complete picture of all our pasts. FAMILY is the key. Family can either be by direct blood, by similar name or friendships. If you are a McCammon or married to one, please help me gather historical information.
