1. Was a soldier in the Revolutionary War. He collected pay for 80 days duty from January 9 to July 8, 1779. He was a footman in Capt. John A. Summer's Company under Col. Roebuck's Regiment.

2. Was killed in battle during the Revolutionary War in the year 1780 (C.S. Peterson, "Known Military Dead During the American Revolutionary War 1775-1783"). He had served in 1779 as footman under Capt. John Adam Summer and Col. Roebuck (Accounts Audited 2233, Stub Indents 1787).
