Paul W. Swartz sired 2 Illigitimate children by Minerva Lybrand. The first being Charlie Bailey and then Bessie. The story goes that Paul worked for West Lybrand, which is how he met Minervia and Louisa Joanner, two of West's daughter. Paul must've been a ladies man, because he ended up getting both sisters pregnant. West gave him an ultimatum to marry one of the sisters and he choose Joanner who was the eldest.
