This is a recent endeavour to learn more about my ancestry. I am interested in any information concerning the family names REDMOND, O'MARA, and MCCROWE. This early in the research stage I am concentrating geographically on ST. JOHN'S, FERRYLAND and ODERIN. St. John's and Ferryland are my starting points for the O'MARA FAMILY. My grandfather on my mother's side was PETER O'MARA and he operated a drugstore on Water Street in St. John's. My grandmother on my mother's side was MARGARET FEEHAN (FLYNN may also come up as her maiden name something about a second marriage somewhere). My grandfather on my father's side was TOM REDMOND of ST. JOHN'S and my grandmother on my father's side was MOLLY FRENCH.
