I am trying to put all the puzzle pieces together! My Father's family are the Worley and Greens from Washington County, Va. My Mother's family are the Roe and Reedy's also from Washington County, Va. My husband's family are the Reaves/Reeves and Morgan's from Greeneville, Tn. I welcome any contacts with new information or corrections to any information I have now. I haven't gotten everything I have on here yet, it takes time, but I will try to add more from time to time. I have also begun work on the family of my son-in-law surnamed Lane, Mother's maiden name Thomas.

  It would seem that our families moved around alot and some of them did. But where I am from the states are so woven together that a person could be born in one county, never move, yet die in another county or even state! These states are Va., Tn., NC., Ky., and W. Va. (which broke off from Va. because of the civil war). This is a puzzle I have been working on for many, many years. Now I am at dead ends and hope by posting this site here and on Rootsweb that I can get some input from family out there that I don't know. I am working on my Father's side (Worley/Green); my Mother's side (Roe/Reedy); my Husband's side (Reaves-Reeves/Morgan) and now my Son-in-law's side (Lane/Thomas). I have entered some info that is family related and could have some inacurate dates. For this reason, be kind and know that I have done my very best! I welcome and appreciate any info you would be willing to share with me. Good luck in your search and in working your own puzzle!
