Larry was born December 30, 1948, Coos Bay, Oregon. Son of George Bernis Reed (dob November 1, 1902) and Armeda P. Parry (dob October 13, 1911).

George B. Reed is the son of Julia L. Odell (dob November 11, 1873) and Allen S. Reed (dob February 11, 1861)from Clay County West Virginia who were married September 29, 1893. Allen had previously been married to Ida E.J. Schoolcraft on January 4, 1883 in Calhoun County, West Virginia.

Armeda P. Parry is the daughter of Winnifred Purdy (dob May 28, 1887) and John Parry (dob March 27, 1880.

Larry was married to Monica May Haniuk (dob 05-01-1950)on September 28, 1967 and had 3 children. Vaughn Michael Reed (dob March 22, 1968), Michelle Kim Reed (dob August 23, 1969) and Paul Antony Reed (dob August 27, 1970).

Larry later married Deanna Rae Rossi (dob May 21, 1961) who had 2 sons, Ryan Daniel Reed (dob Jun 10, 1981) and Michael Scott Wick (dob August 9, 1984).
