About Our Family Research


James H. Hunt & wife Emily Tidwell came from Mississippi in the
late 1800's with 8 children. The children's names: Mattie Laila, William Moody, Joe Orby, James Kelsey, Helen Viola, Elmer Bryant, Stella Emily, & Katie May. James died in January 1896 and is buried in Pilot Point, Grayson County, Texas. The children all married & some moved to different parts of the state and one moved to Arizona.

Wayman F. Pierson came to Texas from Tennessee around 1875 wife his first wife & family. She soon past away and he would remarry two more times. He had 3 wives & 12 children between them. He died in August 1909 in Collinsville, Grayson County, Texas and is buried near there. He had children living for 128
years. His wives: Nancy Morton, W. Slaughter & Susan Galspey House (Wilson)
