I have enjoyed researching my family tree for the last twenty years and would like to hear from anyone with a connection to my folks.

    My ancestors set out from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Isle of Man to cross the seas by wind power to Australia from as early as the 1840's. One, at the pleasure of the legal system of England and the others to seek a better life for themselves and their children away from the teeming cities, famine and unemployment of the British isles. Some died along the way, some never found their pot of gold, some lived ordinary lives and some excelled. But, hopefully all were happy in following their hearts
