My grandfather is Fred David Reece from Asheville/Canton NC. His parents were Lawson P. Reece and Flora E. Inman Reece. I have very little knowledge of the Reece side of my family and I am trying to find any information I can. My grandfather has given me the only information he had (other than what he remembers on his own) and it was written by a Thomas Erwin. I am not sure who he is. He states in the paper that he obtained most of the names and dates from a Jimmy "Nail" Reece who had his father's Bible that had the information written in it. I have traced the Inman name and found several solid connections to the William Pinkmey Inman line. Everything I have found seems to be exactly what Erwin had written in his paper. However, I still can't seem to find anything with my great-grandmother, Flora's name. I Flora had a sister named Maude. Flora married Lawson Pinkney Reece in 1914 we think. If there is anyone who may have the name FLora Inman in their history, please contact me.
