Oscar S. Reed b. September 17, 1883 d. January 29, 1937
He married Maude Swoger and together they had three children, Ralph, Floyd, & Edith. Oscar, during his lifetime was a taxidermist. They were laid to rest in Truth or Consequences, NM (formerly known as Hot Springs, NM) at Hot Springs Cemetary. More information and pictures will be posted soon!
12-11-2004 UPDATE!!! Part of my five year search came to an end, a happy one at that. I found Oscar S. Reed's grandchildren from his son Ralph Roy Reed. (Grandchildren--> Phillip, Billy Jean, and Mary). I spoke to them for the first time and was very thrilled. We are all interested in planning a Reed Family Reunion, hopefully in the spring.
12-11-2004 Another exciting occurence was getting in contact with a Mr. Dennis Reed who has been the only one to have a Oscar S. Reed with the same birth date/m/year as mine. He's given me the information to pass on to other relatives the exciting news of finally being able to trace our family back to the 1700's. Wow Incredible! Thank You Dennis! From All of US
