I am simply trying to establish a link with anyone who knows me or my family,
my grandfather was a farm labourer in aberdeenshire and was called william reid, he was married to wilemena reid they are both deceased. my father was alexander ( sandy) reid he was in the gordon highlanders from before WW2 till the early sixties, he retired as a warrant officer, and became a commissionare for the distillers Co in glasgow, he then moved to cumbernauld where he died in the early sixties leaving my mother agnes ( nan )flett dear, they both came from aberdeen origionaly and are now deceased, i still have a sister in aberdeen maureen murry of dyce and another in the glasgow area hazel smith
