The Camery Family Home Page

Currently, I am researching the Southwest area of Virginia. More specifically, Carroll, Floyd, Franklin, Montgomery, and to a lesser degree the surrounding counties. My research began with the Barnard & Shelor families of Floyd & Patrick Co., Virginia but I found I am connected to so many surnames in those counties, I have chosen to "study" the entire area so as not to miss anyone.

I am also interested the Philson and Lowery families of Somerset Co., Pennsylvania and their movement westward into Ohio, Illinois and Iowa.

The Camery family of Rockingham Co., Virginia, Illinois and Iowa is, of course, another interest as I was born a Camery!

Pasquotank and Perquimans Counties of North Carolina is the area my Newby and Stallings ancestors were born. They moved around a lot but are known to have been in North Carolina, Virginia, Indiana and Iowa.
