Laura Belle Newby was born November 23, 1874 in Bowman's Grove, Shelby Co., Iowa, and died February 23, 1938 in Harlan, Shelby Co., Iowa. She married Morgan Arthur "Mort" Camery on November 26, 1896 in Harlan, Shelby Co., Iowa, son of Christian Palmer Camery and Anna "Annie" Williams.
