Notes for Lura Gertrude Camery: Lura was married about 1935 because she was noted to be married at the time of her mother's death. She was living in Chula Vista, California. This, her only marriage, did not last long and she rarely if ever discussed this period of time.
Her master's thesis on Danish Folk Schools was donated to the Danish Immigrant Museum in Elkhorn, Iowa. She was not Danish herself but was facinated by Danish history.
Lura was cremated at the time of her death in Tucson, AZ. A dear friend of hers spread the ashes in the mountains outside of Tucson.
