Helen McVey (daughter of William McVey and Catherine Brannigan) was born April 14, 1899, and died date unknown. She married (1) Daniel Quinn on October 12, 1920 in St Brides, Bothwell, son of Hugh Quinn and Annie Ward (nee O"Donnell). She married (2) Patrick McLaughlin on September 13, 1926 in St Brides, Bothwell, son of Hugh McLaughlin and Mary Ann Murphy.

Helen was 21 when she married Daniel Quinn (21). She was living at 9 Green st, Bothwell and He was living at 13 Douglas St. Coatbridge. Daniel died and Helen was 27 when she married Patrick McLaughlin and was living back in Bothwell, he was living at 21 Prk St, Cambuslang.
