The Rew family emigrated to Australia in 1850 & eminated from Devon, England, mainly Molton area.
My G Grandfather was John Spring REW (They sailed from Devon in January 1850 on board the ship Fatima. John's mother Julia Ann Spring (nee Ford / Rew) Ebbels had remarried to John Ebbels in 1842 as her husband, John Rew, was believed to have died about 1840. They also had a daughter, Elizabeth, who died young.

JS Rew married Ann Donohue of County Clare, Ireland, in 1864 in Victoria, Australia. They had 16 children in all, with 4 not surviving past infants & most of the females were spinsters. He also had a lot of half siblings as John Ebbels & Julia had 7 children.
