Reynolds of North Eastern Connecticut

About Our Family Research

My father, Aunt and I have been researching our Reynolds ancestry for a few years and find it fascinating. We have traced Reynolds ancestors back to 1791 and plan on going back as far as we can. We have also traced other family lines such as Culver, Pendleton and Lapointes.
The Reynolds in this area were known as "Swamp Yankees", perhaps because they lived around the swamps. Either way it looks like they have been in NorthEastern Connectciut for a very long time.
