Our research started by talking to family members and then moved into the internet research. The Hanson's and the Reynders' have used genealogists which provided us with much information. We have also visited relatives in Norway for my family and have visited Holland where Bob's family originated.
Our immediate families have had reunions every 2-3 yrs for several years. I still have family living on the farm where my Great Great Grandfather was born in Norway amd my brother has found many relatives on both my Mom and Dad's sides of the family.
This past summer we went to WI and found the farms that two of my great great grandfathers homesteaded in the late 1800's. We also went to the area where Bob's Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother lived in the 1870's and early 1880's. We are trying to find out more about Bob's Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother. She passed away in her early 20's and he seemed to move around alot plus using different last names - Reinholz - Reinholdr - Reynders - Reinhold.
