I've just started researching my family history on my dad's side. I only know back as far as my great-great grandfather. His name was James Frank Rhodes. His son was Jesse James Rhodes and he had four sons: James Hershel (my grandfather), Whitt, Sam, and Austin. My grandfather married Bernice Marie Mims of Clanton on Sept. 21, 1945 and they had 3 children: James Jerry (my daddy), Danny Ray, and Linda Gail Rhodes (now Edwards). My dad married my mom, Betty Lou Moore of Bessemer, AL on Oct. 19, 1972. I was born Jan. 21 1977 and my brother, James Matthew was born Mar. 16, 1982. Uncle Danny married Claire ? and they had two children, Maria Regine and Danna Michelle. Maria married Kenneth Mckee of Trussville, AL and they have a son, Dylan Kenneth Mckee. Aunt Gail married Don Edwards of Montevallo, AL and they had three children, all of which are married now. Cynthia Gail married Roger ?, Scott Carlos married Wendy Baker, and April Marie married Kevin ?. April and Kevin have two children, Ashley and Darren. That's all I know!
