Per obits from Climax Crescent News Paper dated: Mar 3,1976 for Sheldon W. Andress Sheldon W. Andress, 84, a retired musical string manufacturer died Sunday in Leila Hospital where he had been a patient seven weeks. Services were scheduled today in Prairie Home Cemetery , Climax, Mi. He was born in Battle Creek, Mi and was a life long resident. He was an active table tennis player and operated the String Manufacturing Business, which was started by his father: until his retirement in 1969. He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Eloise) Phillips of 242 Westview Court and Mrs. Janette Larke of 185 Pineview Court and five grand children. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Genevieve C.Morse.
