Myrle R Sherman, 24, passed away Sunday morning at 230am at the home of his parents Mr and Mrs. Albert A Sherman 192 Post Ave, after a lingering illness of about a year. He was born in Climax and came to this city with his parents as a child.(Battle Creek). He was a graduate from the Cornell Business College. Mr. Sherman is well known in this part of the county and his many friends will be grieving his death. He was a member of the W.O.W. baseball team and one of the Rex Quartets. He was employed by the L.W.Ribinson dry goods company and later by the United Express company, serving his connections with that company when he left the city last summer in search of health. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers Earle B.Sherman of San Francisco: formerly of this city, and Lyle K. Sherman who lives at home. Short prayer services will be held from the home Wednesday morning at ten o'clock and the funeral party will take the noon train over the Grand Trunk for Climax where funeral services will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Hoyer. Burial will be made in the Climax Prairie Home cemetery. Climax, Michigan.
