Andrew Anderson, 84, retired carpenter, died at 1230am. Friday ? at his home in Climax,Mi. following a two week illness. A resident of the area most of his life, he was born April 13,1865 in Charleston Township, Kalamazoo County. A son of Joseph and Elizabeth Anderson. He married Lydia Eldred Sherman on Oct. 24, 1888. He and his wife would have celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary last Monday. Mr. Anderson was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America. Surviving besides the wife are two sons, Sherman Anderson of Comstock, Mi. and Cloyse Anderson of Climax: a daughter , Mrs. Jesse McReaken of Climax, six grandchildren, and three great-grand children. Services were held at 2pm Monday from the Burk and Hoag Funeral Home with burial in Prairie Home Cemetery, in Climax,Mi.
