Mr. and Mrs. Sherman R. Anderson N. 26th St. Kalamazoo,Mi, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5pm. and 7-9pm Sunday at their home.
Mr. Anderson and the former Dorris M. Littler were married Nov.17,1914, at the Myers Street home of her parents in Kalamazoo County.
Rev Henry W. Gelston officiated.

The couple's children are Robert E. Anderson of Millersville, Pa. Mrs Fred Lee and the later Ray Anderson of Climax. They also have 5 grandchildren.
With the exception of three years in Mason City, Iowa, the couple has lived in Kalamazoo all of their married lives.
Both are members of Stockbridge Ave Methodist Church and Kalamazoo Shrine 18, White Shrine of Jerusalem. Mrs. Anderson is past worth high priestess and Mr.Anderson is past watchman of shepherds. He is also a 32nd. degree mason and life member and past master of Kalamazoo Lodge 32,F&AM. He has been lodge secretary for 28 years. Mr. Anderson is an insurance and real estate broker.
