Jesse Mc Reaken Dies in Arizona

Jesse Ebey McReaken, 81, of 270 N. Main St. Climax, Mi passed away suddenly Wednesday, Am Dec.15,1976 in Phoenix, Arizona. where he and his son spent their winters with his nephew and wife Alvin and Kathy McReaken.
Mr. McReaken was born Sept 16,1895 in Sorento, Ill.
He was married to Henrietta Anderson who passed away April 18,1967.

He was a World War I veteran. He was a member of the Climax Scotts American Legion Post No.465. , A 50 year member of Knights of Pythias of Scotts, a member of Battle Creek Knights of Pythias Lodge #35 since 1952, and also a 50 year member of the Brotherhood of the Grand Trunk Railroad. He worked as foreman for the GTW Railroad for 38 years retiring in 1960.

Surviving is a son, Donald, several nephews and neices and a brother-in-law, Cloyse Anderson of Climax, Mi.
Funeral services will be held at the Landeland Climax Chapel, Rev.Paul Mazur officiating. Interment Prairie Home Cemetery, Climax, Mi.
