About Our Family Research

My family roots starts in Africa and in England. It is beleived that the African tribe name was Fanti and the English names were Hatchett, Hodge, Richardson, Brooks. The first slaves arrived in 1760 from St Kitts, a near by island, by the order of the then governor Sir Thomas Warner. I have traced up to 1810 but it is very blured with the scant information of the surnames.
