As of May 25,1998 the most information that we have on William
Sims (originally Symes) was recorded in the _Monroe Journal, Sept. 12,1991 .
He came from England to Virginia in the mid-seventeenth centry. He had four sons by his first wife, who died in 1687. We do not know her name.
THEY LIVED FIRST IN JAMES CITY COUNTY AND THEN IN NEW KENT COUNTY, VA. HE WAS A PLANTER.
