I Have been looking for information in my family both from my fathers side and mothers side.Otis and Bertha Ries(father)and the Ahearn's (mother's side).What I do know is Otis and Bertha lived in Ohio around Bowling Green because that's where my father Leonard M. Ries was born May 3 1909.They had 5 sons Harold,Kenneth ,Richard,Alvin and Leonard.Bertha died Feb 6 1953 which I found in the obituaries in the Daily Sentinnel Tribune.Have not found anything on Otis.At some point they moved to Michigan but can't find anything.
Things that I rearched are my fathers military discharge record,SSN idex's.All of my fathers brothers (including my father)have passed away between 1971-?Harold died 1971,Kenneth 1975, Leonard 1975, Richard ?, Alvin ?\
Kenneth married Elizabeth Hess> 1 daughter lived in Wauseon,OH
Harold married Mary children ? lived in Plymouth Mich
Richard married Rose 2 daughters 1 son; Pearl,Margaret and Larry >lived in Mich.
Alvin married Belva no children,lived in Mich
Leonard>Catherine Ahearn 1 daughter Jean L, 1 son Robert L(me)>Levittown NY
Robert(me)married to Kristen Roth 1 son Kyle Mackenzie born April 15 1998.
