Samuel Riggs (son of John Riggs and Mary Davis) was born October 06, 1740 in Queen Caroline Parish, Anne Arundel Co., Maryland, and died May 25, 1814 in Brookeville, Montgomery Co., Maryland. He married Amelia Dorsey on 1767 in Queen Caroline Parish, Anne Arundel Co., Maryland.
