The Family of Patricia Evans Riley

Updated January 18, 2003

About Our Family Research

I am currently researching my family from my Mother's side, Evans, Hale & Hein(t)z Surnames. I know the Hein(t)z's are from Germany, and came to the US in 1879 or there about. I have not been able to locate the ship they came on, only that they lived in Baltimore, MD after they arrived. The Evans line is supposed to come from Wales, and the Hales from Great Britain. Most of my family ended up in Baltimore, MD. Some came to Philadelphia, Pa.
On my biological fathers side, the surnames are Stewart, Helmling, and Liddell. My roots are supposed to go back to Mary, Queen of Scots (doesn't every one related to the Stewarts or Stuarts). I do know that the family comes from Scotland, but I haven't had any luck going back to the generation that came to America.
If any one viewing this, has any information, I'd appreciate any help I can get.
