Notes for Ocie Columbus Rinehart: I remember my grandfather very fondly. Especially in his later life, he grew very close to my brother and I. My impression of him through memory now when a young child (early 1980s) was a man who could be very authoritive and business like, but could party with the best of them too. He loved women and was probably not the best husband in the world, but LOVED his grandchildren and spoiled them rotten. When he was older several years before his death my brother and I spent the summer with him and his then girlfriend Judy. He was a much tamer man by this age, his partying days mostly over. He still hung out at the American Legion regularly though. I remember his bottle of "medicine" very well. Bottle of cherry vodka! He was a very generous man. Even if he didn't have the money, he would hand it out to someone who needed it. My overall impression of him was a very generous man who loved his family very much and always had a bit of a wild streak.
