Elmer B. Smith, age 44, and wife of 22 years, Beatris 44, were living at home with their children Harris 19, Clyde 12, Virgil 10, and Wilburn, 5. Also living with them was Beatrice's 72 year old widowed father, Clarence. Clarence states that he was born in Alabama and so were his parents. Elmer states his father from Va. and his mother Tenn. Beatris says her father is from Alabama and mother from Arkansas. Elmer's occupation is listed as a roofer.
