Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Luis Miguel Rionda, mexican anthropologist Updated November 9, 2000
About Our Family Research
We are members of the Mexican branch of the Rionda family. As far we know we have Asturias roots, and that our name is distributed in several countries like Cuba, Italy, Mexico, France, the United States and South Africa. There are two Rionda's branchs in Mexico: one of them in Mexico city and the other one in Guanajuato, state at the central Mexican area. I belong to this one, with around a hundred relatives or perhaps more. I am interested in knowing more upon our origins and to have contact with persons that have interesting family histories. In the personal thing I am a social anthopologist, and I work as a professor and researcher in the University of Guanajuato.
