Nearly all my known relatives with sirname Rippy are deceased. Those Rippy's whom I have known and could provide any assistance with genealogical study departed this life with having only left limited information of the Rippy's. During our summer vacation in 2007 met someone with Rippy relatives who had knowledge of some names and places that I was famliar with. She said that Matthew Rippy from Ireland probably was a direct ancestor. I knew names back to William Rippy; and, in past few days - on internet - made the connection to Matthew. (Had no idea that my Rippy ancestor was from Irelan.) Immediately, my wife asked me if the Irish aren't known for their tempers!) Now my interest is in additional information about my newly found ancestors and cousins. I know of no reunions My dad was born in Alamance County, NC on Sep 15, 1901
and I, Kenneth Rippy was born in W-S, Forsyth County, NC on Jan 9, 1947. I have no siblings. My son Jonathan was born om Jul 19, 1977 and he has no children. My dad was the second youngest in his line. One male sibling had a son with males to carry on
Rippy name - they live in Atlanta and I have not met them except when I was approximately 18 months old. I am anticipating learning interesting things about my Rippy kin.
